Here are some tips for Uber and Lyft riders to make it easier for their driver to find them, when sending out a request. For the quicker drivers can get to you, the quicker they can get you to your destination.
1. Shopping malls/shopping centers
If you should send out a request from a shopping mall, please text your driver with what entrance you would like to be picked up from. Now with shopping centers instead of using the address put in the name of the store you are at, for it will make it a lot easier for your driver to find you.
2. Big events
Most big events have set pick up and drop off locations. However, if the one you’re at shouldn’t text or call your driver with a precise place to meet you at, or your driver may contact you with a location. This will make it faster and quicker to get to you without having to get stuck in traffic.
3. Apartment Complex’s
Most of the time when drivers get request from apartments. It takes them to the office. So, when your driver gets close text them the building number, and directions of how to get to it from the office. Also, if you live in gated apartment complex contact your driver when they get close with the code. So, they can get into the apartment complex.
4. Share My Location
Both companies have this feature. Which is great for it gives your driver your exact location.
