Age requirements and vehicle restrictions for guests in the United States:
You must be 18 or older to book with a peer-to-peer host and 21 or older to book with a Commercial Host.
Guests who book with peer-to-peer hosts can choose a protection plan through Turo.
Guests ages 18-21 who book with a peer-to-peer host must choose either the Minimum or the Standard protection plan. They can’t decline a protection plan nor can they choose a plan other than one of these two.
Guests ages 22 or older who book with a peer-to-peer host can choose the Premier, Standard, or Minimum protection plan or they can choose to Decline protection.
Guests who book with Commercial Hosts will be offered commercial rental insurance by their host.
If you are under the age of 21, you can’t book a car with a total market value of more than $20k.
You must be 25 or older to book a Deluxe Class car.
You must be 30 or older to book a Super Deluxe Class car or a specialty vehicle.

You must be 21 or older to book a car in Canada.
You must be 25 or older to book a Deluxe Class car.
You must be 30 or older to book a Super Deluxe Class car or a specialty vehicle.
Age requirements and vehicle restrictions For guests in the UK:
You must be at least 21 and no older than age 74 to book a car in the UK.
You must be 30 or older to book a Deluxe Class car.
All other regions where Turo operates
You must be 21 or older to book a car with a host located outside of the US, Canada, or the UK.
