Does Postmates deliver alcohol?

Updated: Feb 1

Yes, in certain markets they do. You must be 21 or older to receive alcohol and the account owner must be present to accept the delivery. So, make sure to be ready with a valid photo ID when your driver shows up. They may take a picture of your ID, but it won't be saved on their device.

If the alcohol cannot be delivered, you will be charged a return fee of $15. Your Postmate driver cannot complete the delivery if the account owner:

  • Is not present

  • Does not have a valid photo ID

  • Is under 21

  • Appears intoxicated
