DoorDash launches online convenience store DashMart
Updated: Jan 14
On Wednesday DoorDash announced the launch of virtual convenience stores called DashMart. The stores will sell snacks, groceries, and other food-related products from partner restaurants. Instead of brick-and-mortar locations, these stores will only exist on the DoorDash app, kind of like DoorDash's ghost kitchens.
DashMart is currently available in Chicago, Illinois; Columbus, Ohio; Cincinnati, Ohio; Dallas, Texas; Minneapolis, Minnesota; the greater Phoenix, Arizona area; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Redwood City, California. They also plan to expand it to more locations starting with Denver, Baltimore and a broader rollout in California.
The DashMart stores will be owned, and operated by DoorDash.
