Haven't taken an Uber or Lyft in awhile? Well here are changes to the services you should know about

With everything opening back up in cities across the country, more people will using services like Uber and Lyft again. However, with both companies there have been a couple changes because of the COVID-19 that riders should know about

1. Wear a Mask

Both platforms require riders and drivers to wear a mask.

2. No Passengers in the front seat

It is currently against the rules for riders to seat in the front seat. So, make sure you get a big enough car to fit you and your friends without anyone having to sit in the front seat.

3. Less Drives

In certain markets it could be harder to find a driver, for most stopped driving when COVID-19 hit and never came back. So, be patient when finding a ride, and don't blame your driver for longer wait times

4. Higher Fares

With less driver and everything opening back up, the fares for a ride could be a lot higher than your used to. Also, both companies will have to make up for all the money they lost.
