How pay works for Instacart Full Service Shoppers

A Full Service Shopper delivery driver gets paid for each batch they accept and successfully complete.

Before shoppers accept a batch, they can preview the details and additional information including earnings estimate and a map with the store and customer location.

How Full Service Shoppers pay is calculated:

Number Of Items:

The more items there in an order, the more you will be paid. This rate is usually around 40 cents per item and varies from city to city.

Per Mile Rate:

You get paid for the distance you drive between the store and drop off locations. The per-mile rates vary by city and it is usually around 60 cents per mile.

Peak Boosts:

These are incentives that Instacart offers to shopper for working during a peak hours. Bonuses become available when the demand for shoppers is high.

Customer Tips:

Shoppers get 100% of tips

Expenses shoppers will have:

  • Wear and tear on their car

  • Commerical car insurance

  • Gas
