How to cancel your order on DoorDash

How to cancel your order for mobile app users:

  1. Select the order from the Orders tab

  2. Tap "Help" in the top right-hand corner

  3. Under the Help Menu select “Cancel Order” or click on the “Cancel Order” button in the Order Details section

  4. Follow the prompts on the screen

How to cancel order for desktop users:

  1. Select the button with three lines on the top left-hand corner.

  2. Select Orders and choose the live order you’d like to cancel

  3. Select "Help" on the right-hand side

  4. Select “Cancel Order”

  5. Follow the prompts on the screen

You can cancel your order before it gets delivered. However, your eligibility for a refubd depends on the status of the order.


Order Status

Restaurant has not confirmed order and a Dasher has not been assigned

Full Refund

Restaurant has not confirmed order but a Dasher has been assigned

Partial Refund

Restaurant has confirmed order but a Dasher has not been assigned

Restaurant has confirmed order and a Dasher has been assigned

No Refund
