If items are unavailable on your Postmates order, they will contact you in of the two ways down below, for your preferred substitution.
Option 1: Text Message
Cancel My Whole Order: If you choose to cancel your order any charges will be refunded and you will be free to place another order at your convenience.
Select a New Item: If you select a new item from the listed substitutions and Postmates will proceed to place the new order.
Leave Out Unavailable Item: This option will remove the item from your order and we will proceed to place the order with the remaining items.
Note: If you do not respond to the request for a substitution within 15 minutes, your order may be canceled.
Option 2: Phone Call
You may receive a phone call from one of Postmates Customer Service Professionals to request your preferred substitution option. Which based on what the restaurant said was currently available.
