Everything drivers need to know about Lyft’s pre-matching rides

Lyft’s pre-matching places rides in a queue, meaning drivers will already have a ride waiting for them once they complete the current one.

Note: pre-matching is only available to select drivers for standard Lyft and Lyft Shared rides.

How to indicate your last ride

Follow these steps below if you should not want to accept any more rides on the Lyft app

  1. Toggle driver mode off by tapping ‘Online’
  2. Tap ‘Sign off after last ride’ to confirm
  3. On your last ride, the app will show ‘Last ride’ when you’re at the end of the ride queue. That’s it!

After you do this Lyft won’t add more rides after you drop off your last passenger and will also sign you off the app.
