Uber Eats is adding two new features for restaurants that will give them new ways to share content with users. One new feature is and integration with Instagram, the other allows restaurants and other merchants can now bring their unique menus to life and build a customer following.
Instagram to Uber Eats
With this feature restaurant's can connect their store's Instagram account to their Uber Eats account. Doing this will allow customers on Uber Eats to see their feed directly in the app, allowing them to scroll through for food photos, updates, specials, and more.
Uber Eats Merchant Stories
With Merchant Stories, restaurants and other merchants can now bring their unique menus to life and build a customer following.https://www.therideshareco.com/blog/categories/dash-cams
Merchants can sign up to Stories, and us their account to post regular updates to their in-app store front to keep customers engaged. They can also upload images, and text to tell their customers about special deals, menu changes, new services, or seasonal promotions.
In early testing of this feature Uber Eats found 13% of consumers who clicked through a restaurant's Stories placed an order to that restaurant in the same session.
