Uber's Safety Code Feature For riders And Drivers

Updated: Feb 12

Uber is testing out a new safety feature in South Florida. Called the Code Safety feature. We would be surprised if this isn't in every market by this summer.

When arriving at riders location Uber will ask you to confirm rider code before starting the trip. This will help prevent drivers for starting the trip early to see where riders are going, and help with preventing riders from getting into the wrong car.

Riders of right now have a lot of features at their hands to make sure they get into the right car. Unfortunately a lot of riders don't use them to their advantage..

So, this new feature will defiantly help with making sure riders get into the right car along with preventing drivers from cherry picking rides.
