Woman accidentally leaves her baby in a Lyft

A New Jersey woman accidentally left her baby in a Lyft

The woman took a rideshare car on Wednesday night and got out of it without grabbing her child. Once she realized what happened the woman frantically called the cops.

The baby, was sleeping in the backseat so the driver didn’t notice the baby was in the car.  The child was later reunited with their mom.

The question is how does someone forget their kid in a Lyft, or how is it the driver didn't recognize the fact that she didn't get out of the car with her kid? Now we can understand forgetting a cell phone or something like that. But, wow. What are our thoughts on this?
